CBN. El diario digital “The Baynet.com”, del estado norteamericano de Maryland, ha publicado un artículo escrito por Constance Brinkley-Badgett, en el que relaciona los 50 platos que cualquier persona debe tomar antes de morir, por su exquisitez.
Y aunque muchos norteamericanos no sepan donde se ubica España, en esta relación han incluido el salmorejo cordobés dentro de los los 50 platos imprescindibles del planeta.
Dentro de la relación apenas hay platos típicamente europeos salvo el clásico desayuno completo inglés, el helado italiano, la salchicha alemana, el pastel de Belem portugués y los embutidos ibéricos, jamón incluido, que los ubican en España y Portugal.

This soup from the Andalusia region of southern Spain is a close cousin to the better-known gazpacho, but is pureed to a smooth consistency. Served chilled in warm weather and warm in cooler weather, it’s traditionally made of tomatoes, bread, garlic and olive oil, but there are many variations with additional vegetables.
